Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our professional and friendly driver guide will warmly welcome you with a big smile. After a smooth immigration and baggage process, you will be transferred comfortably to your hotel in Arusha. This first day is relaxed, giving you time to rest after your long international flight, enjoy a delicious dinner, and prepare for the exciting safari adventure that awaits you.

After breakfast, we drive to the beautiful and often underrated Arusha National Park, affectionately known as “Little Serengeti.” This scenic park offers a gentle and wonderful introduction to your Tanzania safari. You will enjoy a full day of game drives through lush rainforest, open savanna, and around the sparkling Momella Lakes. Look out for giraffes gracefully feeding on acacia leaves, zebras, buffalos, warthogs, and playful black-and-white colobus monkeys swinging through the trees. The park also boasts fantastic birdlife and stunning views of Mount Meru. The peaceful atmosphere makes this a perfect starter day to ease into the safari rhythm.

After breakfast, we set off for Tarangire National Park, just 2.5 hours drive from Arusha. As soon as you enter the park, you will be amazed by the dramatic landscape filled with thousands of ancient baobab trees standing tall like giant sculptures against the sky. You will enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive along the Rio Tarangire, where large herds of elephants come to drink and bathe. This park offers excellent sightings of giraffes, zebras, buffalos, impalas, dik-diks, and a rich variety of colorful birds in a beautiful and peaceful environment.

You will have a full day to thoroughly explore Tarangire National Park at a relaxed pace. Famous for its impressive population of elephants and iconic ancient baobab trees, this park never disappoints. With our knowledgeable guide, you will visit different sections of the park, searching for lions resting under acacia trees, elusive leopards, large breeding herds of elephants, and many species of antelopes. The scenic beauty, combined with the peaceful sounds of the bush, makes this one of the most enjoyable days of the safari.

Today we drive to the scenic Lake Manyara National Park (about 2 hours). This park is very special because of its diverse landscapes, from dense groundwater forest to open savannah and the alkaline lake. During the afternoon game drive, you will have the chance to see the famous tree-climbing lions, large troops of playful baboons, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos cooling off in the water, and thousands of flamingos that often turn the lake shores bright pink. The beautiful variety of habitats makes every corner exciting.

After breakfast, we take off on the long but very scenic drive across the Ngorongoro Highlands to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park (5–6 hours). As we descend into the Serengeti, the landscape opens up into endless golden plains that stretch to the horizon. Upon entering the park, we immediately begin our first game drive. You may spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and possibly massive herds of the Grande Migração do Gnu, depending on the time of year. This is your first real taste of the true Serengeti magic.

After breakfast, we leave the Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We descend the steep and dramatic crater walls down to the crater floor for an unforgettable afternoon game drive. This huge, intact caldera is like a natural wildlife arena teeming with animals. You have some of the best chances in Africa to see the Big Five, lions, elephants, buffalos, and the rare black rhino, all in one place. Hippos wallow in the pools, flamingos add pink color to the lake, and the scenic views are simply spectacular.
