After a hearty breakfast, your private guide will collect you for the scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. The landscape gradually changes from green highlands to open savannah dotted with massive ancient baobab trees.
Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, often seen gathering along the Umlambo waseTarangire. During your afternoon game drive, you can expect excellent sightings of elephants, lions, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, and a rich variety of birdlife. Today you travel north to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The drive is spectacular, climbing through the Ngorongoro Highlands before descending onto the endless golden plains of the Serengeti.
Wildlife sightings often begin as soon as you enter the park. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive, searching for the Big Five, cheetahs, and possibly the Ukufuduka Okukhulu herds (depending on the season). In the late afternoon, you will reach your luxurious lodge, perfectly located with breathtaking views over the Serengeti plains.

Usuku 5: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will depart the Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will descend 600 meters down the steep crater walls into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a full morning or extended game drive.
This collapsed volcano is often described as an “African Eden” because of its incredible wildlife density. You have excellent chances of seeing the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, as well as flamingos on the soda lake, hippos, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra. In the afternoon, you will ascend and check into your luxury lodge on the crater rim.
