With one day in Arusha you can cover key sites, but coordinating transport and activities takes up valuable sightseeing time. This is a relatively easy, two-hour bike ride on beautiful paths. The mountain bike tour takes you past local banana and coffee fields and several Tanzanian farms. You also cycle through several villages on the outskirts of Arusha. It is a ride over flat terrain that shows how people live here. Trees provide the necessary shade along the route, which is especially nice in the warm season
Explore the stunning Arusha National park on a bike and enjoy the fresh air while being surrounded by its zebras, giraffes, bushbucks, monkeys, buffalos, birds, and many more. With Mount Meru in the background, ride through different habitats & beautiful lakes and let yourself be charmed by the beauty of the landscape.
The starting point will be at Arusha in the city center (transfers from your hotel/lodge can be arranged). From our office, we will organize a car transfer to Arusha National Park. Our 20 km long ride will then start from the gate of the park. Along the way, we will see exotic habitats and wild animals. From the low grassland to the rainforest, we will witness different bird species, and wildlife such as zebras and antelopes. The ride bike will be relaxing with the scenic Mount Meru towering in the background. We will rest and have lunch at the lakeside at the perfect picnic spot. On the way back we will drive to the park gate where we will organize a transfer back to your hotel/lodge.
