Day-by-day breakdown
Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Your adventure begins in Arusha, where we pick you up after a quick breakfast and drive through scenic highlands and Maasai villages toward Serengeti National Park as the road opens up to reveal the famous endless plains stretching to the horizon, and once inside the park, the first game drive brings immediate magic with giraffes browsing tall acacia trees, elephant families moving gracefully, and prides of lions lounging in the grass, and depending on the season, the spectacular Great Migration where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains in one of natureโs greatest shows while your experienced guide points out highlights and shares fascinating stories, so after a full afternoon of sightings, you arrive at your lodge or tented camp inside or near the park for a hearty dinner and a restful night surrounded by the distant calls of wild animals under the vast Serengeti sky.
Accommodation: Mid-range lodge or tented camp in/near Serengeti
Meal Plan: Full Board (Lunch, Dinner)
Day 2: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Rise early for coffee or tea, then head out on a morning game drive when the golden light bathes the plains and predators are most active so you can track leopards draped in trees, cheetahs sprinting across open grassland, hyenas patrolling their territory, and herds of antelopes, elephants, and buffalo scattered everywhere while your guide navigates to the best spots based on recent animal movements. Later, enjoy a bush picnic lunch surrounded by nature to maximize your time exploring different areas, including the wildlife-rich Seronera Valley with its permanent water sources that attract diverse species year-round and an impressive array of birds from secretary birds to vibrant lilac-breasted rollers before returning to camp in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and another magical night under the Serengeti stars.
Accommodation: Same mid-range lodge or tented camp
Meal Plan: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Arusha
Start with a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, savoring one last chance to spot wildlife in the soft dawn light. Then after breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the worldโs largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary teeming with animals where open grasslands, swamps, and a central soda lake create perfect habitats for flamingos, hippos, black rhinos, lions, wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and more, all in incredibly high concentrations that make this one of the best places on Earth for close-up wildlife viewing and photography. So spend the morning and early afternoon on crater-floor game drives, enjoying a picnic lunch in this stunning setting before ascending the crater rim and driving back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon in time for your onward flight or next plans, marking the end of an unforgettable 3-day safari filled with adventure, wonder, and lasting memories.
