Day 0 - Arrival Day
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by a Kiwoito Africa Safari representative. From the moment you touch down, everything is taken care of. You’ll be transferred to your luxurious lodge in Arusha, where you can unwind from your flight with a refreshing drink and enjoy the beautiful views of Mount Meru or kilimanjaro in the distance. Take time to relax, settle in, and prepare for the incredible adventure ahead.

Day 1 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, your personal guide will pick you up in a private 4×4 safari vehicle for the scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its ancient baobab trees and the largest elephant population in northern Tanzania, Tarangire offers an authentic and uncrowded safari experience. As you drive through the park, expect to see herds of elephants wandering freely, graceful giraffes nibbling acacia trees, and clusters of zebras and wildebeest grazing the open plains. Lions are often seen resting in the shade, while leopards may be spotted lounging in the trees.
You’ll stop for a gourmet picnic lunch inside the park, surrounded by nature. The afternoon continues with more wildlife viewing as your guide shares fascinating insights about the park’s ecosystem and wildlife behavior. In the evening, you’ll head to your luxury lodge or tented camp, where you can enjoy a sundowner with panoramic views and later indulge in a fine dining experience under the stars.

Day 2 – Ngorongoro Crater Experience
An early start ensures you reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in good time. After a scenic drive through the highlands, you’ll descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater — one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. This natural wonder is home to a dense population of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, large prides of lions, spotted hyenas, hippos, buffalos, and even flamingos lining the soda lake.
With your knowledgeable guide leading the way, you’ll explore the crater floor throughout the morning, taking in its breathtaking scenery and abundance of animals. A delicious lunch will be served at a quiet picnic site beside a hippo pool. In the afternoon, you’ll ascend from the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha, filled with unforgettable memories and incredible photographs.
