Day by day
Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park
Your safari adventure begins early in the morning as you depart Arusha after a short safari briefing from your Kiwoito Africa Safaris guide. You will then engage in a scenic drive across the Great Rift Valley and the boundless plains of the Ngorongoro Highlands, enjoying stunning landscapes and cultural views along the way.
By midday, you will arrive at the Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. After a warm welcome at the main gate, you will begin your first thrilling game drive across the vast Serengeti plains, home to the world-famous wildebeest migration, big cats, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and an incredible diversity of wildlife species.
Spend the afternoon exploring the central Serengeti (Seronera area), known for its year-round game viewing and frequent predator activity. Your experienced guide will take you to the best wildlife hotspots, ensuring you witness the true beauty of the African savannah.
As the sun sets over the endless horizon, you will drive to your comfortable lodge inside or near the park for dinner and an overnight stay. Enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars, surrounded by the magical sounds of the wilderness.

Day 2: Half Day Tour Serengeti - Ngorongoro
Wake up to the breathtaking beauty of the Serengeti as the sun rises over the golden plains. After an early breakfast, embark on a half-day game drive through the Serengeti—one of the best times to spot predators in action, as lions, cheetahs, and leopards are most active during the cooler morning hours.
Your guide will navigate through the Seronera region, exploring prime wildlife viewing areas where you may encounter large herds of herbivores, graceful giraffes, elephants, buffalo, and an abundance of birdlife. This morning game drive gives you another opportunity to witness the raw beauty of the Serengeti before bidding farewell to this iconic park.
Around midday, you will begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through scenic landscapes and Maasai villages along the way. Enjoy a relaxing drive with stunning viewpoints and occasional wildlife sightings en route.
Upon arrival at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, you will check into your lodge nestled near the crater edge. The evening is free for relaxation, with breathtaking views of the highlands and a cool mountain breeze to end your unforgettable day.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour - Arusha
After an early morning breakfast, descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Often described as the “Garden of Eden”, the crater offers some of the highest wildlife densities in the world—making it one of the best places to spot the Big Five in a single day.
Enjoy a full morning game drive on the crater floor as your guide leads you through lush forests, sparkling lakes, open savannahs, and marsh areas teeming with life. Here, you may encounter elephants, lions, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and, with a bit of luck, the rare black rhino.
Your game drive continues to Lake Magadi, a beautiful shallow lake famous for flamingos and other water birds, providing excellent photo opportunities against a stunning backdrop.
Around lunchtime, enjoy a delicious picnic at a designated spot inside the crater, surrounded by the incredible scenery and wildlife.
