Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park

Pickup takes place in Arusha from a hotel or airport. The drive to Tarangire takes about two hours across farmland and views of Mount Meru. The park entrance opens into plains marked by tall baobab trees and seasonal swamps. Tarangire holds one of Tanzania’s largest elephant populations, so sightings start early. Game drives focus on elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and many bird species. Vehicles follow river routes for the best viewing. After the afternoon drive, the group heads to Migombani Campsite at Mto wa Mbu. The campsite offers hot showers, a dining area, and raised views over Lake Manyara. Dinner is served at camp with time to relax near the fire.

Accommodation: Migombani Campsite

Day 2: Half Day Tour Serengeti - Ngorongoro

Breakfast is served at camp before heading toward the Serengeti. The drive passes the Rift Valley escarpment and the edges of Lake Manyara. Entry into Serengeti shows sweeping grasslands and scattered acacia trees. The group begins a half day game drive in the Seronera region. This area is known for cheetahs, hyenas, lion prides, and year round wildlife activity. Guides stay alert for movement around kopjes and river lines, which often hold predators. As evening approaches, the group arrives at Nyani Campsite. The campsite sits in an open part of the Serengeti with regular wildlife sounds at night. Dinner is prepared by the camp cook before everyone settles in for the night.

Accommodation: Nyani Campsite

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro

The day starts early to catch the best wildlife activity. A morning game drive covers plains where big cats hunt at dawn. Guides track lions, leopards, and any early movement of migration herds. After the drive, the group travels toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The landscape shifts from open plains to cooler highlands occupied by Maasai communities. The road climbs to the crater rim where Simba Campsite sits with views into the caldera. Tents are set up near the viewpoint and guests have time to rest or take short walks at the rim. Dinner is served at camp. Night temperatures are lower at this altitude, so warm clothing helps.
