Your journey begins the moment you touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After clearing immigration, you’ll be greeted by a friendly, professional driver-guide who will be waiting to welcome you with a warm smile. After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up and you’ll begin your drive toward Lake Manyara National Park. This small yet stunning park lies nestled beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment and is famous for its lush groundwater forests and abundant wildlife. Keep your eyes open for elephants strolling beneath the fig trees, colorful flocks of flamingos along the lakeshore, and if you’re lucky, the elusive tree-climbing lions lounging on the branches. After an exciting game drive, you’ll head to your accomodation for dinner and overnight.
