Your safari begins with a warm welcome at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. A friendly driver-guide from Kiwoito Africa Safaris will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. This first day gives you time to relax and adjust to the new environment. Depending on your arrival time, you might enjoy a short walk in the town or unwind at your lodge as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, you head toward Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most picturesque parks, known for its diverse habitats. From groundwater forests to open savannahs and hot springs, this park is full of surprises. Elephants roam freely, baboons gather in large groups, and the lake is often covered with flamingos and storks. If you’re lucky, you might even spot the tree-climbing lions resting on the branches. After a full day of wildlife viewing and a picnic lunch inside the park, you head to your nearby campsite or lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

By late afternoon, you arrive at your budget campsite inside or near the park and settle in for the night under the stars.
