The day of the safari begins after breakfast. We check out of the hotel in the morning and drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. We will make a quick stop at the Rift Valley Escarpment Viewpoint, then drive through Narok town and the Masai land to get to Masai Mara, where we will have lunch at the lodge while watching animals. After lunch, we go for a game drive in the afternoon, and then we go back to the lodge or camp for dinner and the night.

You can take a sunrise game drive on this day to see some nocturnal animals as they go back into hiding after a hunting night. After breakfast, you will go on a full day of game drives, which will include a picnic lunch. Numerous animal and bird species can be found in Masai Mara, including wildebeest migration herds. Check out of the lodge after an early breakfast and proceed to the Isebania border to obtain your Tanzanian visas and cross over. You will arrive in Serengeti in the afternoon after passing through Mugumu Township and entering Serengeti National Park through the Ikoma gate. After that, you will travel to the Lodge/Tented Camp, where you will be able to see wildlife.

If you’d like, you can go on an early morning game drive, leave the lodge with lunchboxes after breakfast, and spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of Tanzania’s largest national park, the Serengeti. If you travel between November and August, you will see the Wildebeest Migration and many animal and bird species that you might have missed at Masai Mara. We return to the lodge for dinner and the night later in the afternoon.

After checking out of the lodge or camp in the morning, we will drive through the Central Serengeti and enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area through the Naabi Hill Gate. If you would like, you can pass through Olduvai Gorge (for an additional fee). After that, we will descend into the crater floor. After a picnic lunch at the Hippo poolside picnic area, we’ll go on game drives for the remainder of the day until late afternoon, when we’ll drive up to the Crater Rim.
