Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by a Kiwoito Africa Safaris representative. After completing immigration and customs formalities, you will be transferred to Arusha, Tanzania’s safari capital.
Relax and enjoy scenic views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting) as you settle in after your journey.

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive north toward the remote and dramatic landscapes of Lake Natron, located in the Great Rift Valley near the Kenyan border.
In the afternoon, enjoy activities around the lake including bird watching (especially flamingos and other water birds), a sunset walk, and an optional refreshing swim in the natural springs.

Today is dedicated to exploring the wild beauty of Lake Natron. Travel via Longido for a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger, allowing you to safely experience the area on foot.
Enjoy breathtaking views of Ol Doinyo Lengai, the sacred Maasai volcano, and observe wildlife adapted to this harsh yet stunning environment.

Today you journey to the impressive Embalakai Crater, a hidden gem offering raw wilderness and a true off-the-grid camping experience.

In the evening, relax at the campsite on the crater rim.

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive to Lake Eyasi, a culturally rich region.
Visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last true hunter-gatherer societies in East Africa. Learn about their unique way of life, including hunting techniques, tracking skills, fire-making, and traditional honey harvesting.
You may also visit the Datoga tribe and local blacksmiths, gaining deeper insight into Tanzania’s diverse cultures.

After breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive.
This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, dense groundwater forests, and spectacular scenery combining lake shores, forest, and escarpment cliffs.

Depart Lake Manyara and head to Tarangire National Park, known for its massive baobab trees and large elephant populations.

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and return to Arusha, You may choose to enjoy a hot lunch or visit Cultural Heritage Centre for last-minute shopping before transferring to the airport for your local or international departure, marking the end of your unforgettable 13 days Tanzania camping safari.
