Day 1: Arrival

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by a professional guide from Kiwoito Africa Safari and transferred to your luxurious hotel in Arusha. Settle into your accommodation, enjoy a warm meal, and rest after your international flight as you prepare for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2: A Peaceful Day in Arusha.

After breakfast, enjoy a laid-back day in Arusha. Depending on your preference, you can relax at the lodge, take a short city tour, or visit the Cultural Heritage Centre for insight into Tanzania’s rich traditions and arts. The day allows time to acclimate, recover from jet lag, and get a feel for the rhythm of East Africa.

Day 3: Arusha national park

Your journey begins with a visit to the nearby Arusha National Park, a hidden gem often overlooked. The park is home to Mount Meru, lush forest trails, and the scenic Momella Lakes. Wildlife sightings may include giraffes, zebras, flamingos, and possibly colobus monkeys. A canoeing activity or walking safari can also be arranged for a more intimate wildlife encounter.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you’ll head to Tarangire, a park known for its giant baobab trees and massive herds of elephants. Your luxurious tented camp or lodge provides stunning views and comfort deep in the African wilderness.

Day 5: Lake Manyara

Your next stop is Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. The day ends with a drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands, where you’ll spend the night overlooking breathtaking landscapes.

Day 6: The Serengeti

After breakfast, journey toward the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers incredible views and cultural encounters with Maasai communities. As you reach the Serengeti plains, the vastness and wildlife abundance become immediately apparent. Arrive at your luxury lodge in time for an evening game drive and a beautiful African sunset.

Day 7: Full Day in the Serengeti Plains

Spend the entire day exploring the endless savannahs of the Serengeti. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras move in search of greener pastures. Day 8: Another Day In Serengeti

Enjoy another day in the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Day 9: Ngorongoro conservation area

After breakfast, you will drive back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five. The crater’s fertile floor supports a variety of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, buffalo, and a large concentration of hippos around Lake Magadi. Later, return to your lodge on the crater rim or in Karatu for a restful evening.

Day 10: Flight to Zanzibar Island

Today, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to the tropical island of Zanzibar, included as part of your safari package.
