Arrival Day: Welcome to Tanzania
Your adventure begins as soon as you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport. A friendly Kiwoito Africa Safaris representative will greet you with a warm smile, holding a sign with your name and ready to whisk you away to your affordable lodge in Arusha. The drive provides a glimpse into Tanzania’s vibrant culture and, if the skies are clear, a distant view of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. After settling into your cozy accommodations, spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the exciting days ahead. Your guide will provide you with an overview of the safari, answer any questions you may have, and ensure you are prepared to enter the wilderness. Dinner is included, with hearty local dishes to fuel your journey.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
We leave Tarangire National Park early after breakfast and travel across the Great Rift Valley’s floor, up the escarpment, and through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in what will ultimately be a pleasant scenic drive as you enjoy the beautiful scenery and breathtaking vistas on your way to Serengeti National Park.
Arrive in the Serengeti in the afternoon for a game drive until late afternoon, when you will check into a camp or lodge for a campfire, dinner, and overnight stay. Lunch is served at one of the Picnic sites, most likely at the Naabi Hill Gate, where you can stretch your legs while your guide completes the registration and necessary paperwork. All meals are included.

Day 2: Tarangire (Half day game drive) - Arusha
Half Day Safari Game Drive in Tarangire National Park followed by Afternoon Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport
Enjoy a memorable final morning with a half-day safari game drive in Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. Known for its large herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, Tarangire offers excellent game viewing in a beautiful acacia woodland and savannah landscape.
After an exciting morning tracking lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birds, you will enjoy a delicious bush picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you will depart from Tarangire and begin your scenic drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
