4 Day Tarangire Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
We will pick you up from Arusha airport or Kilimanjaro airport overnight in your accommodation in Arusha city.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire
Pick up from Arusha hotel at 8.00m, then take 3 hour’s driver to Tarangire National Park. You will have a day game drive inside this park. Later, you will drive to Jambo Lodge for dinner and overnight. Tarangire National Park is 115km from Arusha and covers a square area of 2800km. Wild animals drink water from the Tarangire River, where the name Tarangire comes from. The park has major attractions, such as many elephants, climbing trees, pythons, and baobab trees. Also, you can see lions, leopards, and other animals.
Day 3: Ngorongoro crater full day
You will wake up around 6,30 am for breakfast; after breakfast, you will leave for the Ngorongoro crater floor, where you will see all the big five. Also, you will see different types of birds and black rhinos available inside the crater. On this day, you will have lunch inside the crater while watching nature and listening to high concentrations of flamingos. As you will have a full day inside the crater, you will see the astounding Ngorongoro Crater, famous for being the largest inactive and intact volcanic caldera in the world. A result of a significant explosion and collapse about 2 to 3 million years ago, the Crater was officially hailed as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa in 2015. Day 4: Lake Manyara to Arusha
After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara for a full-day game drive. Inside the park, you can see climbing tree lions and many flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. You will also visit a hot spring. Also, on the same day, you will visit Maasai Boma, where you will see how they live and learn their culture and traditions. Later, you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
