This 4-day safari itinerary will take you to Serengeti, and Ngorongoro.  You will also get to explore the National Park and the Conservation Area.

With this safari package, you will be close to nature and able to see different animal biodiversity, beautiful landscapes, the scenic view of birding, Baobab trees, the great East African wildebeests & Zebras’ migration (but this depends on the season), the big game animals, birds of prey and so much more.

Day 1: Airport – Arusha

Whatever your arrival time at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Kiwoito Africa Safari driver-guide will be waiting for you with a warm welcoming smile. Kick back and relax in your comfortable vehicle as he takes you to your hotel in Arusha, Tanzania’s self-styled ‘safari capital.’ On your journey to the hotel, you will get a brief impression of this large, bustling, commercial city. Depending on your arrival time, you may have your pre-safari briefing today; overnight at Planet Lodge BB.

 

 

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire

After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive.

Tarangire is one of the best parks in Tanzania, which offers some extraordinary sights. Normally, in the dry seasons, Tarangire River becomes reliable water solution for many animals which is a permanent source of water.

Tarangire is known and famous for large elephant concentration, baobab trees, beautiful landscapes, you expect to see heads of, buffaloes, giraffe, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, baboons, many and antelopes.  For bird watchers, Tarangire is the place where over 400 bird species have been recorded in this park, which includes also the rare species animals like Greater Kudu, wild dogs & fringed Eared Oryx are also among rare animal species found in this amazing park.

Predators like lion, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, leopard also found in this park. Tarangire national Park forms the central annual migratory cycle within Tarangire and Lake Manyara ecosystem which includes more than, 25,000 wildebeests, and about 30,000 zebras.

Mto wa Mmbu – Ngorongoro 3hrs 

After breakfast depart to Ngorongoro for a full day game drive in the crater.

Ngorongoro is a multiple land-use area where Maasai people who are pastoralists share the same Ecosystem with wild animals, the area is part of the Serengeti ecosystem to the north and northwest is the Ndutu area where between December to April, is the best time to see Calving of wildebeests and zebras.

Ngorongoro crater is the largest unbroken and unflooded caldera in the world, the main attraction in Ngorongoro is the crater which was formed after when the large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself and formed a caldera, in the caldera is the best place to view many antelopes very close and the big 5 but depending on the season.

Day 4: Ngorongoro – Arusha 2:30 hrs.

After breakfast, depart with lunch boxes for the drive to Arusha or an option for hot lunch at Arusha for the flight to Zanzibar/ home or stay according to the schedule you may have.
