Day 1: Arrival In Arusha

 

Our team will warmly welcome you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and assist with your transfer to Arusha. This relaxed introduction allows you to settle into Tanzania at your pace.

Your lodge provides a peaceful environment where you can unwind after your journey. Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, with all accessibility needs taken into account.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you’ll depart to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet incredibly diverse park located along the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

As you enter the park, the landscape transforms into a lush rainforest filled with towering trees and playful monkeys. As your game drive continues, you’ll explore open floodplains and the lake’s shoreline, where large flocks of flamingos and other bird species gather.

Lake Manyara is also renowned for its tree-climbing lions, a rare behavior you may be lucky enough to witness. You can commonly spot elephants, giraffes, hippos, and zebras throughout the park.

Your wheelchair-accessible safari vehicle ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience as your guide navigates through the park’s diverse habitats.

In the late afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

On day 3, you will journey to the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations.

After descending into the crater, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a dense concentration of animals in a stunning natural setting. The crater floor offers one of the best chances to spot the Big Five in a single day.

Expect to see lions resting on the plains, elephants grazing near the forest, buffalo herds moving across the grasslands, and possibly the endangered black rhino. Hippos can be seen in freshwater pools, while flamingos decorate the lake’s edge.

After your game drive, you’ll return to your lodge near Lake Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park - Arusha

On your final day, you’ll head to Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem known for its impressive elephant population and iconic baobab trees.

During your half-day game drive, you’ll explore areas around the Tarangire River, where wildlife gathers, especially during the dry season. You can often spot elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and predators like lions here.

Tarangire’s quieter atmosphere makes it a perfect place to end your safari, offering a more relaxed and intimate wildlife experience.

After your game drive, you’ll begin your transfer back to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable Tanzania safari.
