Day by day

Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam

Arrive at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA), where our guide will meet and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, explore Dar es Salaam’s highlights such as Kivukoni Fish Market, the National Museum, or the Village Museum.Enjoy a welcome dinner at a beachfront restaurant.

Overnight stay in Dar es Salaam.

Day 2: Dar es Salaam – Saadani National Park

Early morning departure for Saadani National Park, the only coastal wildlife park in East Africa (approximately 4-hour drive). Enjoy a game drive, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, and other wildlife roaming near the ocean. Afternoon boat safari on the Wami River to see hippos, crocodiles, and diverse bird species.

Overnight stay at a lodge inside or near the park.

Day 3: Saadani – Bagamoyo

Explore the Bagamoyo ruins, including the Old Fort, Caravan Serai Museum, and the Kaole Ruins.

Visit the Fish Market and enjoy a sunset stroll along the coastline.

Day 4: Bagamoyo – Zanzibar (Stone Town)

Morning transfer to Dar es Salaam and board a ferry to Zanzibar (approximately 2-hour ride). Arrive in Stone Town and check in at your hotel. Afternoon guided tour of Stone Town’s historic sites, including the Sultan’s Palace, House of Wonders, and the Old Slave Market. Dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the city.

Day 5: Zanzibar Beach & Spice Tour

Morning spice farm tour to experience the island’s famous spices, learning about cloves, cinnamon, and vanilla cultivation. Transfer to Nungwi or Kendwa Beach for a full day of relaxation on the white sandy shores. Optional activities include snorkeling, diving, or dhow sailing. Enjoy a beachside dinner with fresh seafood.

Overnight stay in Zanzibar.

Day 6: Departure from Zanzibar

Morning at leisure—enjoy a beach walk or shopping for souvenirs in Stone Town. Transfer to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your departure flight.
