Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

 

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our professional driver-guide will warmly welcome you with a smile, cold refreshments, and a friendly Swahili greeting of “Karibu Tanzania!”

You will enjoy a comfortable private transfer to Arusha, with beautiful views of Mount Meru along the way. You will check into the elegant Arusha Coffee Lodge, nestled on a historic coffee plantation. Spend the afternoon relaxing in your luxurious cottage, taking a dip in the pool, or enjoying the lush gardens. In the evening, savor a delicious welcome dinner featuring fresh farm-to-table ingredients.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After a hearty breakfast, your private guide will collect you for the scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. The landscape gradually changes from green highlands to open savannah dotted with massive ancient baobab trees.

Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, often seen gathering along the Tarangire River. During your afternoon game drive, you can expect excellent sightings of elephants, lions, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, and a rich variety of birdlife. Day 3: Full day at the Serengeti National Park.

You will enjoy an afternoon game drive, searching for the Big Five, cheetahs, and possibly the Great Migration herds (depending on the season). Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Day 5: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart the Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will descend 600 meters down the steep crater walls into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a full morning or extended game drive.

This collapsed volcano is often described as an “African Eden” because of its incredible wildlife density. You have excellent chances of seeing the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, as well as flamingos on the soda lake, hippos, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra. In the afternoon, you will ascend and check into your luxury lodge on the crater rim.
