You will stay in well-rated mid-range lodges and permanent tented camps such as Tarangire Osupuko Lodge, Tukaone Serengeti Camp, and Eileen’s Tree Inn or similar properties. These offer en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds, good food, and beautiful locations inside or near the parks, providing a balance between comfort and authenticity without luxury prices.
The best months are June to October (dry season) for fantastic wildlife viewing and possible river crossings of the Great Migration. December to February is also excellent, especially for the wildebeest calving season in the southern Serengeti and greener landscapes. The rainy season (March–May) offers lower rates and fewer crowds but some roads may be challenging.
It depends on the timing of your trip. From June to October, the migration is usually in the central and northern Serengeti, offering great chances to see massive herds. From December to March, you can witness the calving season in the south. Our guides always track the latest movements to position you in the best possible areas.
The safari is private. You will have your own dedicated 4×4 vehicle and professional driver-guide for maximum flexibility, comfort, and photography opportunities. No sharing with other travelers.
Very little. This is a game viewing safari where most time is spent in the vehicle. You only need to be able to get in and out of the safari jeep comfortably. It is suitable for all ages (from children to seniors) and fitness levels.
We use well-maintained Toyota Land Cruisers or similar 4×4 safari vehicles with pop-up roofs, comfortable seats, charging points, and large windows for excellent wildlife viewing and photography.
Essential items include neutral-colored clothing (khaki, beige, green), binoculars, a good camera, sunscreen, insect repellent, a light rain jacket, hat, sunglasses, comfortable walking shoes, and a warm fleece for early morning and evening game drives. We provide a detailed packing list when you book.
Absolutely. We can upgrade to luxury lodges, add extra days in the Serengeti, include a hot air balloon ride, insert a visit to Lake Manyara or a cultural Maasai boma tour, or adjust the pacing according to your preferences.
