After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, your private driver-guide will pick you up for the scenic drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2 hours). As you approach the park, the landscape transforms into golden savannahs dotted with massive ancient baobab trees.
Once inside Tarangire, the adventure truly begins. This park is famous for its large elephant populations; you can see herds of up to hundreds gathering along the Tarangire River. Your experienced local guide will take you to the best locations for wildlife viewing. Look out for lions resting under acacia trees, giraffes gracefully feeding, zebras and wildebeests crossing the plains, and a rich variety of birdlife.
