After a hearty breakfast, you set off on the scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, which is just a couple of hours from Arusha. As you enter the park, the landscape transforms into golden savannah dotted with massive ancient baobab trees that look like they have stood there for centuries. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, and you will likely see these gentle giants drinking from the Tarangire River or moving across the plains in impressive family groups.
Your afternoon game drive with your expert driver-guide will be full of excitement. You can expect to see zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffalos, and a wide variety of colorful birds. If you are lucky, you may spot lions resting under the shade of acacia trees or leopards hiding in the branches. The park feels peaceful and less crowded than other areas, giving you a wonderful introduction to African wildlife. As the sun begins to set, you head to your lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and share stories of the day’s sightings.

On day 3 you travel north toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through beautiful highlands and Maasai villages where you can see local people herding cattle in their traditional way. As you cross into the Serengeti, the view opens up into one of the most spectacular landscapes on Earth, endless rolling plains that seem to go on forever.
Your afternoon game drive begins almost immediately after entering the park. The Serengeti is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, and your guide knows exactly where to look. You may see prides of lions, graceful giraffes, fast-moving cheetahs, and massive herds of wildebeest and zebra, especially if the migration is passing through. The sheer scale of the Serengeti is humbling and exciting at the same time. In the evening, you settle into your comfortable camp, listen to the sounds of the bush, and enjoy a well-deserved dinner under the stars.
Accommodation: Tukaone Serengeti
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This day is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti. Your driver-guide will take you to the best areas based on recent animal movements. Early morning is ideal for spotting predators, while later in the day you can see large herds of antelopes, elephants, and buffalos. Depending on the season, you can get into the wildebeest migration, where you may witness thousands of these animals moving together across the plains in long columns, accompanied by zebras, with the dramatic sound of their grunting and the dust rising behind them. A picnic lunch in the bush adds a special touch to this full day of adventure.
Accommodation: Tukaone Serengeti
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, you leave the Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The highlight of the day is descending deep into the Ngorongoro Crater, a massive collapsed volcano that creates a natural wildlife sanctuary. The crater floor is like a lost world, teeming with animals. You have a very good chance of seeing all of the Big Five here in one day.
Look out for black rhinos, large elephant herds, lions resting near the roads, hippos cooling off in the water, and thousands of flamingos around the lake. The scenery is dramatic, with steep crater walls rising all around you. After several hours of game viewing, you drive up to your lodge on the rim, where you can enjoy beautiful views and reflect on this incredible day.
