Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to Arusha Planet Lodge. Surrounded by lush gardens and offering a peaceful retreat, the lodge is the perfect place to relax after your journey. If time allows, you may take a short walk around Arusha or simply rest and prepare for your safari adventure.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins with an early morning departure to Tarangire National Park, a true gem of Tanzania’s northern circuit. Known for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds, the park offers a rich variety of wildlife. You’ll explore open savannahs, acacia woodlands, and riverbanks alive with zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and predators resting in the shade. Bird lovers will delight in spotting colorful species such as lilac-breasted rollers and yellow-collared lovebirds. In the evening, you will check in at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge, where you can enjoy dinner while the sounds of nature fill the night.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha
After breakfast, you set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Descending into this vast natural amphitheater, you will find one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. The crater floor is home to grazing buffalo, playful hippos, flamingos wading in shallow waters, and the rare black rhino. Lions roam the open plains, while hyenas and jackals patrol the grasslands. After a full day of game viewing, you will drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your private safari with memories to last a lifetime.
