Day by day
Day 1: Arrival – Dar es Salaam
Arrive at Julius Kambarage Nyerere International Airport, meet your safari representative, and transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Fly to Mbeya
Fly from Dar es Salaam to Mbeya. On arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your lodge to begin your southern circuit journey
Day 3: Ngosi Crater & Bridge of God
Hike through lush forest to Ngosi Crater Lake, enjoying panoramic views and wildlife sightings. Later visit Daraja la Mungu (Bridge of God), Marasusa Waterfalls, and surrounding natural attractions.
Day 4: Tukuyu Tea Estate & Kaporogwe Waterfalls
Visit Tukuyu Tea Estate and factory, learn about tea production, and enjoy tea tasting. Later explore Kaporogwe Waterfalls, caves, historical sites, and scenic forest landscapes.
Day 5: Lake Nyasa – Matema Beach
Drive through mountains and tea estates to the tropical shores of Lake Nyasa, arriving at the beautiful Matema Beach
Day 6: Lake Nyasa Leisure Day
Enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing with local fishermen, village visits, and relaxation on the scenic shores of Lake Nyasa
Day 7: Kitulo National Park
Travel to Kitulo National Park, arriving in the late afternoon. Settle in for the night near the park.
Day 8: Kitulo National Park Exploration
Full-day guided hike in Kitulo National Park, known as the “Serengeti of Flowers,” famous for orchids, wildflowers, and sweeping alpine landscapes
Day 9: Mufindi Highlands
Drive to the Mufindi Highlands, passing rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural villages. Overnight at a luxury lodge in the highlands.
Day 10: Mufindi Highlands
Enjoy a full day of activities including horse riding, mountain biking, tea tours, kayaking, fishing, and cycling through forests and plantations.
Day 11: Isimila Stone Age Site & Ruaha National Park
Visit the Isimila Stone Age archaeological site, then continue to Ruaha National Park. Enjoy a Maasai Boma cultural experience on arrival.
Day 12: Ruaha National Park Game Drive
Full-day game drive in Ruaha National Park, spotting elephants, buffalo, kudu, antelopes, wild dogs, and diverse birdlife.
Day 13: Ruaha National Park Game Drive
Another full-day game drive exploring different regions of Ruaha National Park and its abundant wildlife.
Day 14: Mikumi National Park
Drive to Mikumi National Park, arriving in the early evening. Relax at your lodge.
Day 15: Mikumi National Park
Full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park, home to lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and numerous bird species.
Day 16:Saadani National Park & Boat Safari
Drive to Saadani National Park. In the evening, enjoy a boat safari along the Wami River, observing hippos, crocodiles, birds, and mangroves at sunset.

Day 17:Saadani National Park & Boat Safari
Full-day game drive in Saadani National Park, followed by relaxation on the Indian Ocean beaches.
Day 18:Bagamoyo Historical Tour
Explore Bagamoyo’s historic sites including Kaole Ruins, German Boma, Catholic Mission Museum, Caravan Serai, and colonial-era buildings.
Day 19:Departure
Drive back to Dar es Salaam for hotel transfer or international departure, marking the end of your luxury Southern Circuit safari.
