Room Features
The lodge features well-designed standard rooms that prioritize accessibility. These rooms are wheelchair-friendly, reflecting a strong commitment to responsible and inclusive tourism.
Connecting doors between paired rooms allow two Standard Rooms to be converted into comfortable Family suites, with separate spaces for adults and children.
Thanks to the lodge’s elevated position on the escarpment, mosquito presence is minimal. Guests rarely need fans or mosquito nets, even at night, ensuring a peaceful and undisturbed rest.
Every accommodation unit is thoughtfully designed with privacy in mind, enabling guests to enjoy intimate dinners or quiet moments without interruption.
Wildlife Experiences
Manyara Safari Lodge offers remarkable wildlife encounters right on the property. Large mammals such as lions, hyenas, leopards, elephants, and buffalo frequently visit the grounds and are often heard at night, adding an exciting wilderness element to every stay.
Daily visitors include waterbuck, baboons, mongooses, genets, and hundreds of bird species. The lodge grounds are also home to a newly discovered sub-species of black-chested dwarf toad.
The landscape is rich with colorful flowers, trees, and plants that fill the air with pleasant scents and vibrant hues. Guests can take advantage of opportunities to build camouflaged hides for closer observation of animals and birds.
From the lodge, visitors can hear hippos calling from the lake below and often spot flamingos along the shoreline.
