Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Your 4-day Tanzania Luxury Safari journey begins in Arusha, where you will meet your private guide and begin the scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This park, located at the base of Tanzania’s Great Rift Valley escarpment, is one of the country’s best-kept secrets. As you enter the park, you’ll be greeted by lush forests full of monkeys and baboons, followed by open plains teeming with elephants, giraffes, zebras, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. The alkaline lake shimmers in the sunlight and is frequently populated by flamingos and other water birds.

Day 2: From Lake Manyara to the Endless Plains of Serengeti
Following a hearty breakfast, your journey continues northwest through Karatu’s rich highlands and into the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. As the landscape opens up, endless savannahs stretch to the horizon, providing a dramatic backdrop for one of the world’s most spectacular wildlife shows. Before arriving in the heart of the Serengeti, you may pass through Maasai communities and see herds of wildlife.
By midday, you’ll arrive at your lodge or luxury tented camp, which is located in a prime game viewing area. The afternoon is reserved for a game drive, during which you will most likely see herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles moving across the plains, often shadowed by predators such as lions and cheetahs. The day concludes with sundowners by the fire and dinner under the stars, accompanied by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

The crater floor is teeming with wildlife: lions roam freely, rhinos graze openly, and herds of buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest coexist with elephants and hippos. Flamingos and other bird species add color to the soda lake in the center.
Your expert guide will lead you through the morning as you explore this natural sanctuary. After a scenic picnic lunch by a hippo pool, you’ll start the drive back to Arusha, arriving late afternoon.
