Today, you’ll depart after breakfast and drive toward the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you’ll pass through the scenic highlands and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a chance to spot Maasai villages and their herds along the way.
As you enter the Serengeti, the landscape opens into the classic savannah, golden grasslands stretching as far as the eye can see. After your drive, you’ll head to your lodge in the Serengeti for a night under the African stars.

You’ll descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive on the crater floor. This unique ecosystem is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, elephants, and a large population of hippos around the central lake. It’s one of the few places in Africa where you can see all of the Big Five in a single day. After your safari, ascend back up and travel to your lodge outside the conservation area for the night.

After your safari experience in the Ngorongoro Crater, you’ll leave the highlands and head east to Tarangire National Park (about a 3-4 hour drive). This day provides a beautiful contrast, moving from the dramatic crater to the traditional baobab. The studded savannah of Tarangire.
Tarangire is known as the “Elephant Paradise” and is an excellent way to end your safari.
